BACK TO SCHOOL MISHAPS

January 3 2011 - class resumes

Woke up, looked at the clock.

● 5 am... well I think it was 5 am.

I was thinking it was still too early so I decided to get a few more minutes of sleep. z z z . . .

I was up just a few minute before my mom entered my room to try to wake me up.

● 6:30 am...

I'll be late again - why am I not surprised.

Prepared for school. No time for breakfast, almost suffered hypothermia while taking a bath - what a great start.

● 8:30 am...

Left the house - traffic ! ! ! Oh this day just keeps getting better and better.

It's finally 2011, a year before mankind's impending doom... F' yeah!

Anyway, all of last night's ruckus says it all - it's officially 2011 and as part of Filipino customs and traditions for celebrating new year's eve, firecrackers were everywhere.

Even with accidents going rampant and the authorities advising people to stay away from them, a lot of Filipino still chose to light firecrackers as a way to greet the coming year.

Screw safety, we're setting the sky on fire

and greeting this year with a bang!
